I’m Karleigh Csordas, and I’m running with the Green Party of Canada because I believe in a future where our communities are resilient, our environment is protected, and our country stands strong in the face of growing global threats. I’m motivated by a deep sense of responsibility to defend our democracy, our sovereignty, and the people who call this place home.
I’ve spent my career building community, advocating for social justice, and empowering others. As a small business owner and community organizer, I’ve led successful grassroots initiatives focused on sustainability, local food systems, and civic engagement. I served as a Green Party candidate at both the federal and provincial levels, bringing people together across political lines to take meaningful action.
If elected, I will fight to end legislated poverty, especially for people with disabilities. I will push for bold action on affordable housing, electoral reform, and climate resilience. I believe in taxing excess corporate profits to fund the services we all rely on, and I’m committed to a Canada where wealth is more fairly distributed.
With Donald Trump back in office and referring to Canada as the 51st state, I know we must take a stand. I will work to protect our sovereignty, resist imported extremism, and ensure Canadian policy is made by and for Canadians.
My vision is of a Canada that leads with integrity, cares for its people, and listens to the voices too often ignored. I’m here to represent you with courage, compassion, and a commitment to lasting change.
